Hey y’all, I’m Amanda! My passion is helping college students develop into the best version of themselves. Professionally I have worked in residence life since my senior year in college as an RA at St. John’s University, Queens Campus. I am originally from Long Island, New York but moved to Hammond, Louisiana in 2015 to complete my Ph.D. at Louisiana State University in Educational Leadership & Research in Higher Education. The research I conducted at LSU revolved around the impact of formal sorority recruitment on the development of self and collective efficacy for sorority women.

I’m obsessed with my puppies, Burreaux and Nola. Coffee is my go-to pretty much 24/7. Spending my days in New Orleans is one of my favorite things to do in my spare time. I am a proud sorority woman. I am my best self when I am working with students and I love the work I have been privileged to do!
